BRYAN FITZGERALD began his artistic journey as a nine-year-old quoting scenes word-for-word from "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me." One day, he watched "Good Will Hunting," and along with every other young white boy in the world, aspired to be like Matt and Ben. He joined an acting class (The Bare Bones Theater on Long Island) at sixteen and never looked back.
Years later, he wrote, co-directed, and starred in his debut short film UNDER WATER, which played at film festivals and had a profound social impact on audiences, but shockingly did not launch him and his partner to Oscar stardom. Now, with their directorial debut feature, BIRDO, on the way, this is just the beginning...
Over the last 15+ years, Bryan has compiled an impressive list of indie film and episodic credits. He strives to be a part of bringing meaningful and inspiring stories to life, both in front of and behind the lens. Thanks for stopping by.
